Zucchini balls (kolokythokeftedes)


Discover a delicious starter/appetizer to change from the classic meatballs. They smell dill and with feta inside you won't resist...






Ingredients

2 medium zucchinis
150 gr of feta
1 onion (dry or green)
1 egg
dill
100 gr flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
salt, pepper, olive oil

Procedure

Put in a bowl the grated zucchini, onion and crumbled feta. Add the rest of the ingredients.


Adjust the flour in order to get a nice thick mixture.






 Warm a big frying pan with sunflower oil.






Use a spoon to put spoon fulls of the mixture to fry until they get a nice golden color. Use a fork to turn them to get evenly fried. You can accompany it with tzatziki sauce. Enjoy!
