Pork meat with potatoes


Close well meat, potatoes and various vegetables and leave them slowly to cook in the oven. You will end up with a delicious and well balanced main dish for the whole family! Once again, a simple recipe :)

For most of my recipes in the oven, I use a baking dish with a cover. This has several advantages. From the practical ones, like keeping the oven clean to the more interesting ones like better taste results. If you do not have one, you can cover your dish with a piece of aluminum foil.

Ingredients

700gr of pork meat
4 big potatoes
various vegetables that you have or like (like 2 tomatoes, 1 green pepper, several mushrooms, 1 onion)

salt, pepper, oregano
olive oil

Preparation 

Cut the meat in medium cubes and put it in the middle of the baking dish. Cut the potatoes in pieces and put them around the meat. Cut all the vegetables in pieces and put them on top of the meat. 




Add to all of them salt, pepper, oregano and olive oil. With two spoons mix the meat with the ingredients on top. Add enough water to cover almost the potatoes.


Cover and put in the over at 160 degrees (Celsius) with air for 2 hours.
Uncover, and leave for 10 minutes at 200 degrees (Celsius) to get a nice golden color. Enjoy, as always!
