Feta cheese pies with yoghurt dough (tyropitakia)

I will share today with you, one of my favorite recipes, the "tyropitakia"! "Tyropitakia" are small cheese pies made with feta and there are various recipes to make them. The most known recipe is the one with pastry "filo" but today, I will give you the recipe that has a dough made with yoghurt and which is my favorite one.
They are delicious! If you end up falling in love with them like me, double the ingredients to make them last longer as they tend to disappear immediately coming out of the oven :)

Ingredients

Dough
125 gr of butter
300 gr of flour for cakes
1 yoghurt (125gr)
1 egg
some sunflower oil
2-3 drops of white vinegar
Filling
1 egg
150 gr of feta cheese (tip: add some emmental cheese also!)
Top
1 egg

Procedure

Prepare a large and shallow oven dish that you have buttered or have put a paper for baking.

Put the butter in the microwave oven to soften and mix well by hand all the ingredients for the dough (add the flour little by little, until the dough has a nice soft texture).

Prepare the filling, by beating the egg and adding the feta cheese that you have smashed with a fork (add the emmental cheese if you like).

Make small balls with the dough. Take them in your palm and press them with your other palm.

Make a small "bump" in the middle like in the photo and add a small part of the filling.

"Close" your pie using your fingers. Once finished with all the dough, "close" again all the pies with a small fork by pressing it against the edges of each pie.
Using the fork, make also holes on the top.

Brush them on top with a beaten egg (tip: add also the remaining filling to it).

Bake in 180C/fan for about 20 min or until they get a nice golden color. Enjoy!
