Chocolate chip muffins

A classic recipe that still not so easy to find that works well...
So, here it is my favorite!

Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 2–2½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 100–120 g chocolate chips
  • 1 egg (or 2 for richer texture)
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 150 ml milk
  • 125 g butter, melted

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 180°C (fan). Line a muffin tray with paper cases.

2. Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla, and chocolate chips (lightly coated with flour).

3. Mix Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk sugar, melted butter, egg(s), and milk until smooth.

4. Combine Gently
Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and mix gently with a spoon or spatula until just combined. Do not overmix.

5. Fill Muffin Tray
Divide the batter evenly into 12 muffin cups.

6. Bake
Bake for about 18–22 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

7. Cool & Serve
Let cool slightly before serving.


Tips & Variations

  • Do not overmix for soft muffins.
