Haloween Fingers
Ok, Halloween has passed, but here it is a funny idea for your next year's Halloween aperitif.
I tried it for the first time a week ago at a great Halloween party of some dear friends of ours (thank you btw!!!) and everyone was excited with it!
So easy, so scary, so tasty... can you do better? ;)
With terror from me to you... BoooOOOOO
Ingredients
at least 1 layer of puff pastry (the biggest your party, the more you need, I used 2 here)
Frankfurt sausages (I used 10)
1 can of Mexican red sauce
(ketchup or any tomato sauce will do too)
white almonds
Procedure

Frankfurt sausages (I used 10)
1 can of Mexican red sauce
(ketchup or any tomato sauce will do too)
white almonds
Procedure
- Preheat the oven at 200 degrees of Celsius and fan.
- Cut the sausages in 3 parts to simulate the finger bones.
- Cut the puff pastry in rectangles big enough to cover real human fingers :)
- Create the "fingers" from 1. and 2.
- With a sharp knife, draw the finger joints lines.
- At the end of each finger brush some red sauce and put on top an almond pressing slightly to stick.
- Arrange all the fingers on an over tray covered with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 15min or until golden.
- Serve in a round tray where you will have added some Mexican red sauce in the middle to simulate blood. Let anyone dip each finger to the spicy sauce and enjoy the laughs :)
