Apple cake with coconut crust

Original cake today that brings together the apples and the coconut, with the latter one making a tasty crust over the apples. For the ones that like coconut, you will be thrilled with this combination!









 


Ingredients
Dough for the first layer:
120gr self-raising flour
100gr sugar
2 eggs
2 apples peeled and cut in small cubes
4 spoonfuls of milk
2 spoonfuls of butter or margarine

Dough for the second layer:
100gr of sugar
100gr of butter or margarine
1 egg
80gr noix de coco (or a bit more if you like too much coconut like me :)

Procedure


Mix the ingredients for the first layer well for a few minutes using a mixer. Pour in a buttered oven pan and bake in 180 degrees of Celsius and fan for about 15-20min or until it gets a nice golden color.




In the meantime, mix the ingredients for the second layer and when the first layer is done, pour fast the second layer and bake for 15 more minutes. Enjoy!!!
