Waffles
French breakfast to it's best! Waffles are called "gaufres" in french and if you have never tried them before or were looking for a basic recipe that it's easy and works very well, then try this one :)
Ingredients
250gr flour (I use T45)
10gr of baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 l of milk
100gr of butter (melted)
a bit of salt
Procedure
Mix well the ingredients with a hand mixer to avoid lumps and make a nice of medium-thickness dough.
Warm the special cooking instrument for waffles until it will indicate that the temperature is ready for cooking.
Pour a small amount of the dough to the middle of each waffle partition, trying to avoid putting too much as when you will close it it will press the dough and if it is more than needed it will start leaking to the sides! Cook until there is no more steam coming out of the machine.
When done, spread melted chocolate, nutella, honey or caramel on top and decorate with fruits like bananas or blueberries or dried fruits like grated walnuts for example. Use your imagination to make it each time a unique experience!
