Ham and swiss cheese bread/cake
Having friends coming over? Looking for a fast meal? Are on a diet and instead of baking a sweet cake you came to your senses and decide to bake a salty one? Then this recipe is for you. Here we have just loved it! What's the secret ? The swiss cheese (aged Gruyere) that makes all the difference :)
Bake this salty cake that you can either cut in cubes and serve it with toothpicks as an aperitif or serve it with a salad and have a full and tasty meal!

Ingredients
- 250gr all-purpose flour (T45 or T55)
- 4 eggs
- 150gr gruyere cheese (coarsely grated)
- 60ml sunflower oil
- 60ml milk
- 120gr ham cubes
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- optionally greek green olives (sliced)
Procedure
- Preheat the oven on air and 180 degrees of Celsius.
- Butter a loaf pan.
- Mix the ingredients simply with a fork (better beat the eggs separately at the beginning)
- Empty the dough to the dish.
- Put in the oven and bake for about 40-45min or until it gets a nice color and passes the toothpick test ;)
