Easy Kourou Tyropitakia (Feta Balls) in the Ninja Crispi Air Fryer

These kourou tyropitakia are one of the easiest Greek cheese snacks to make. Prepared as small feta balls, they are soft and fluffy inside, lightly crisp outside, and perfect for the Ninja Crispi Air Fryer.

No fyllo, no rolling — just mix, shape, and air fry.

Greek Tyropitakia with Fyllo in the Ninja Crispi Air Fryer

Tyropitakia with Fyllo are a classic Greek cheese meze, and they adapt beautifully to the air fryer. Shaping them as small rectangles instead of triangles allows you to fit more pieces at once — even in a compact air fryer like the Ninja Crispi.

Using one sheet of fyllo per roll keeps them light, crisp, and perfectly suited to air frying.

Greek Chicken Gyros in the Oven

No grill? No problem! This oven-baked chicken gyros recipe gives you all the flavor of classic Greek gyros without needing a rotisserie. I make it often with chicken breasts, a bold marinade, and a clever stacking trick using skewers.

Note: This version uses a slightly richer blend of spices than what you'd usually find in ready-made gyros (which often rely mostly on salt, oregano, and garlic) — but the result is way more flavorful!

Greek Garlic-Potato Puree (Skordalia)

[Updated 20/03/2025]

A creamy, garlicky potato puree, this traditional Greek side dish is rich in olive oil and garlic. It pairs wonderfully with Crispy Greek Cod (Bakaliaros Skordalia) (fried cod with garlic-potato puree), a dish especially enjoyed on Greece's National Day, March 25th.
