Christmas 2025 sweet wishes

Christmas is a time for sweetness — not only on the table, but in the little moments we share. This year, I’m celebrating with desserts that feel most like Christmas: simple, nostalgic, and full of warmth.

From Greek classics to a few European favorites, these sweet wishes are meant to be shared, enjoyed slowly, and remembered.

Wishing you a Christmas full of warmth, sweetness, and simple joys.

What to cook in October?

My top recipes for October that the weather starts to get chilly and rainy (at least in my region :) not to mention spooky because of Haloween!

Super yummy all of them!

Greek Semolina Cake with Syrup (Ravani)

[Updated 26/02/2025]

Ravani is a moist, fragrant Greek cake made with semolina and soaked in a sweet syrup. It’s a classic dessert that’s perfect for any occasion. With a hint of lemon and a delicate texture, this cake is a beloved treat in Greek households (in ours too!). I dare to say that this is one of the best recipes for ravani!

An amazing variation is the coconut ravani.
