Easy Overnight Oats – A No-Cook Breakfast Idea

Overnight oats are the ultimate make-ahead breakfast—healthy, delicious, and endlessly customizable. Just grab a few jars, mix your ingredients, and wake up to a ready-to-eat meal!

Practical for students, camping, sailing and snacking ;)

Base Ingredients:

  • Rolled oats (about ⅔ of each jar)
  • Milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • Greek yogurt (for creaminess)
  • Sweetener: honey, maple syrup, or mashed banana (optional)

Toppings & Add-Ins:

  • Seeds & Nuts: Chia seeds, flaxseeds, almonds, walnuts, peanuts
  • Fruits: Bananas, apples, berries (fresh or frozen), pineapple, dried fruit
  • Flavor Boosters: Cocoa powder, shredded coconut, cinnamon, vanilla extract
  • Extras: Peanut butter, almond butter, dark chocolate chips

Recipe reminder: salmon plaki (Greek baked fish)


If you found some tempting salmon or any white fish to bring home like me yesterday, here's a greek way to cook it that we call "plaki". I got some amazing oriental bread with semolina and made a fresh salad, all yummy!

A Taste of Greece: Healthy and comforting

Here’s another Greek-inspired menu featuring Keftedakia (Greek meatballs) as the starter and Fakes Soupa (lentil soup) as the main course:

🥗 The Starter: Keftedakia (Greek Meatballs)

Flavorful meatballs made with ground beef, onions, garlic and herbs. Serve with a side of tzatziki sauce and pita bread.

🥘 The Main Dish: Fakes Soupa (Greek Lentil Soup)
A hearty, comforting soup made with lentils, carrots, onions, garlic, and tomatoes, seasoned with olive oil and vinegar, and topped with crumbled feta and Kalamata olives.
Crusty Bread (for dipping in the soup)
Steamed Broccoli with Olive oil and Lemon (light and fresh)

🍫 The Sweet Finale:

  • Baklava (flaky pastry filled with nuts and soaked in honey syrup)
  • Greek Yogurt with Honey & Walnuts (simple and satisfying)
